Charissa Steffens

Charissa is a teacher who has a background in business and is the former editor of Indulge Magazine. She is currently studying a Master’s degree in Christian Studies and Communications. She loves to write and share about faith and family at her blog She Matters. Charissa is actively involved at her home church of Nexus in Brisbane. Her two precious children, Elisha and Lucas, keep her parental learning curve steep. She has been married to David for many a moon and is grateful every day for his love and friendship.

Elissa Macpherson

Elissa Macpherson is an author and speaker. She has written two books, “Beautiful” and “Mirror, Mirror”. Elissa lives to pursue the beauty of God and infuse that truth into the lives of women. She desires to see women live in beauty, freedom and joy. In 2015, Elissa attended the United Nations Commission into the Status of Women in New York and then led a workshop on the prevention of gendercide at the Global Baptist Women’s Leadership Conference in South Africa. . In 2016 Elissa was appointed the social media editor for the Baptist World Alliance Women’s Department. She has been married over 25 years, and is mum to three. Elissa lives on a vineyard in rural Queensland where she constantly sees the wonder of God in nature.

Toni Rehrmann

Toni is the national Director of Australian Baptist Women and Director of NT Baptist Women. She is also on the Pastoral Team at Darwin Baptist Church.
Toni is married to Richard and they have 4 young adult children – Katie, Matthew, Ben and Thomas. She loves time spent with family and catching up with the Sistas in her life – especially when it involves good coffee.
Her passion is to see women finding their identity and value in God – being equipped and empowered to know Christ and to live a wholehearted and purpose-filled life in the power of His Spirit.

Bronwen Healy

As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Hope Foundation, Bronwen Healy’s mission is to help women wanting to be free from addiction and/or the sex industry. A former heroin addict and sex worker, Bronwen established and launched the charity in 2007. Bronwen set up the Hope Haven – a drop-in space for Hope Chicks under the Foundations umbrella – and drives a program of fundraising, events, counselling and services, including the development of a high school based program. As a community leader, mentor, motivational speaker, author and mother of three, Bronwen brings about real, positive change and has pioneered outreach for some of the community’s most vulnerable members. Her driving passion is to instill hope in every living soul, and to tell them they are ‘loved, valued and created with a purpose’.

Bek Taylor

Bek is our Neon girls leader. Bek loves Jesus and sharing the gospel, especially with young people. She has worked at Scripture Union Camps, and has run our Neon girls program at Mt Tamborine and Mapleton for the last 2 years. She loves sports, music, her husband Sam, and plays the guitar in her church worship team.

Melissa Geltch

Melissa loves the Lord, His Word and to worship Him. She has learnt that in all things, God works together for good, and that faith is a verb, it requires action. Melissa spent 3 years as a missionary in Bali, working with women in the prisons and on the streets. She is a very feminine mother to 3 boys, and lives on the Sunshine Coast.
